ABOUT TOLAN

Tolan Shaw is a prolific songwriter-artist-producer, a new dad, and an avid traveler. His new EP “Little Moon” shows an artist at the peak of his prowess, painting lush melodies and production over a foundation of meaningful songwriting about his daughter and his life in this new phase.

This new music represents a natural evolution in the creative journey of someone who first rose to prominence as a touring acoustic troubadour. Shaw won "Best Singer-Songwriter" and “Best Pop Album” at the San Diego Music Awards, became a Taylor Guitars artist, and co-wrote “Could I Love You Any More,” a hit duet by Jason Mraz and Filipino star Reneé Dominique, which racked up 100 million streams and views across online platforms, before moving to Nashville, TN to be a full time songwriter and artist. Since moving, Shaw has released multiple singles, a full album and an EP, had songwriting credits with dozens of other artists, and seen success with ad and tv placements for companies like John Deere, Dignity Health, Netflix, and most major tv networks. His song “Gold” was the signature song in the hit FOX Turkish TV show Sen Çal Kapimi.

Shaw’s songwriting talents cross a wide variety of genres and mediums, and he is a firm believer in the power of a good song. And his latest “Little Moon” EP is the perfect example of simple, yet powerful song craft.

“It’s easy to listen to Shaw and feel transported by his style, spirit, and storytelling. He’s an artist that speaks volumes in just a few words, with a world full of emotion.”
